TrueNorth Church Ministry Teams “Love all…Serve all”
“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)
TRAFFIC TEAM:
Team members assist those arriving for a service or special event to find a parking spot. Primary attention is given to first-time guests.
SIDEWALK HOSTS:
This team exists to receive, assist, and accompany guests to various locations throughout the building.
GREETERS:
This team greets visitors and regular attendees warmly and serve them by providing programs for them and when necessary opening the outside door.
USHERS:
This team assists in the welcoming and seating of attendees. Team members help to collect the offering each service as well.
INFORMATION CENTER HOSTS:
This team provides complete information by promptly furnishing needed resources, answering questions, having material sent, and/or introducing to a staff member.
FOLLOW-UP CALLERS:
This team contacts every first time visitor to TrueNorth in a timely manner.
PRAYER TEAM:
This web based ministry is available for all attenders whenever a need exists in their family or the family of a close friend for any prayer concern. This is a meaningful, beneficial and far-reaching ministry of the church.
HOSPITALITY TEAM:
Provide food/drinks for attenders on Sunday mornings and occasional special events. This team helps create an atmosphere of welcome, connectivity and conversation over a cup of coffee.
FACILITY SET UP/TEAR DOWN:
This team magically transforms the facility for all all-church events. Set up and tear down Journeyland, Kidz Stuff and the gymnasium as requested and prepare the facility for regular ministry use.
SECURITY TEAM:
These individuals are lead by trained professionals who work in our community with various police departments, but who serve on Sunday, faithfully offering a presence of safety.
MEDICAL RESPONSE TEAM:
Trained in CPR, defibrillator and supplemental oxygen use these individuals serve during the service they normally attend and are on-call with a pager if a medical emergency arises.
101 CLASS SUPPORT TEAM:
Pick up standing food order at nearby store. Distribute and clean up food and beverages for breaks and meals during the classes. Clean up after last class.
