• TEACHING TRUTH THAT TRANSFORMS LIVES
The teaching of Jesus always brought transformation to those who listened. His truth is the only reference point for people to find forgiveness, hope and direction in their lives. At TrueNorth, God’s truth will be taught practically and creatively making it applicable to the daily life of kids, youth and adults.

• RELATIONSHIPS
We were created for relationships! God designed us with a hunger to know Him and "to do life together" with others. At TrueNorth we want to invest our lives in reaching people one life at a time and growing them as Christ followers through community in Journey Teams (home groups).

We love to have fun! We are a community in celebration because of the love, forgiveness, and freedom we have in Christ. The joy of the Lord is our strength! Wherever or whenever we meet you will find us upbeat!

Anything worth doing is worth doing well! Our Savior left a legacy of excellence as he did his Father’s will. At TrueNorth our goal is to leave the same legacy whenever and wherever we serve. We won’t be perfect, but we will prepare, plan and work to honor God with our best.

Come just as you are! This is a safe and accepting place for people regardless of their background, status, clothes or color. We desire to love you with a mentality based upon Christ’s unconditional, unfailing, forgiving and never-ending love. Faith, hope and love, the greatest of these is love!

• OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
We were designed to serve, not be a spectator! At TrueNorth every member is a minister involved in meeting the needs of others. God saves us to serve, not "sit and soak." He has wired each of us with a passion, style and gift to minister. Find your place, get involved and make a difference!

• RELEVANT
We serve a creative God! The beauty and splendor of his creation declares his creative powers. His wonders and Word calls us to be creative, relevant and out-side-the box! When the Holy Spirit filled the disciples (Acts 2) they were empowered to speak the "language of the culture" to share the Good News! Jesus said only new, flexible wineskins hold the new wine of the Spirit, so we are committed to remaining teachable and changeable to connect with the unchurched culture. At TrueNorth you’ll never hear those seven deadly words, "We’ve never done it that way before."

• TRANSPARENT WORSHIP
We want TrueNorth to be real, honest and genuine, in our people and gatherings. We want more than slick productions and nice appearances. Our desire is to encourage people to be authentic with God and one another. Jesus said it’s not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick. As sick people, our lives can become windows where others see God through our struggles. As we admit our dependence for God and his strength, our worship can become a 24/7 (24 hour/7 days a week) way of life!

• HUMBLE SERVANT LEADERS
Everything rises and falls with leadership. Servant leaders are life long learners who empower others with a spirit of humility and servanthood. Jesus reminded us that the greatest are the least, and the least are the greatest. At TrueNorth, our desire is to reproduce leaders who lead and love with a servant’s heart.
