Dunk’d is how we celebrate baptism at TrueNorth Church. It is a celebration of how Jesus Christ has changed a life.

At TrueNorth, we believe baptism is an outward activity symbolizing an individual’s salvation through Jesus Christ. Jesus set the example for baptism in the New Testament and commanded that his followers do the same. It is out of our love and obedience to him that we publicly acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Baptism illustrates Christ’s death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) as well as the new life that his followers have when they die to their old way of life and welcome their new life with Christ. The Bible says that we become a brand new person when we become a Christ-follower (2 Corinthians 5:17). That’s why Dunk’d services are so special, it’s a time when we celebrate life change!
